Whisper of Water is an experimental short film that tells the story of a girl who has a strong connection with water. Through non-linear narrative structure and immersive sensory experiences, the film delicately portrays the sensation of water—its beauty, softness, freedom, and emotion.

《水之语》是一部实验短片，讲述了一位与水有着深厚联系的女孩的故事。通过非线性叙事结构和沉浸式感官体验，影片细腻地描绘了水的感觉——美丽、柔软、自由和情感。

My inspiration for this project stems from my personal experiences and emotional attachment to water. As a PADI two-star certificated freediver, I have explored underwater realms in various locations like Mexico, Hawaii, and Catalina Island.

我的创作灵感来源于个人经历和对水的情感共鸣。我是一名PADI二星自由潜水员，曾在墨西哥、夏威夷和卡塔利娜岛等地潜水，探索水下世界。

The profound sensation of diving into the water, feeling embraced by something soft and warm, has left a lasting impression on me. And I’m very obsessed with the beautiful underwater world. All of these inspired me to make an experimental film to convey the themes of freedom, peace, softness, and the inherent beauty of water, illustrating its enchanting connection with a human being.

潜入水中时，那种被柔软温暖包围的感觉给我留下了深刻印象。我对美丽的水下世界着迷。这些经历启发了我创作一部实验影片，来表达自由、平和、柔软和自然之美的主题，展示人类和水之间的迷人连接。

The story begins with a girl who can’t hear anything in her life except the sound of water. It’s the only way that she communicates with the world. She’s gifted of this silent language.
In this setting that defies reality, I aim to magnify the extraordinary bond between her and water. 故事的开始，我们看到一个女孩，她除了水声什么也听不到。水是她与世界交流的唯一媒介，她天生具备这一无声语言。我希望通过这样超现实的设定来夸张表现她与水之间的连接。

We can not hear anything when she towels her hair, turns on hair dryer and cuts hair……only when she opens the tap, a clear sound of running water accompanies. 她用毛巾擦头发、打开吹风机和剪头发时，我们听不到任何声音……只有当她打开水龙头时，才会有清澈的流水声响起。

Then, like a mesmerizing poem, we plunge into a surreal realm where she dances and plays with water, gracefully and beautifully. 接着我们进入了一个超现实空间，她伴随着水优雅地起舞，美丽而动人。

In the end, she sinks into the bathtub, transforming into a jellyfish that glides through the air, blurring the lines between reality and the ethereal underwater world. 最后，她沉入缸底，变成一只轻盈的水母在空中飘动。
